Note: The Technology Homework Center schedule corresponds to the Temecula Valley Unified School District yearly schedule. Computers shut down 15 minutes prior to closing. Computers are filtered. No prior sign up necessary.
Technology Homework Center (THC) has 24 computers available to K-12 students. Students can access library informational databases, use Microsoft Office Applications and search the Internet. High school and middle school textbooks are available for use within the Technology Homework Center. Please bring a flash drive if you need to save your work. Printing is available at a rate of $.15 for black and white copies and $.75 for color copies. Assistance in the THC is limited to Internet research and computer applications, and does not include help with individual homework assignments and projects.
A TVUSD peer tutoring program is available. Tutoring services are provided by qualified high school student volunteers. No prior sign up is necessary. Sessions are given in a small group setting, and are free to K-12 students. The focus is on core course subjects such as English and Mathematics. Please check the weekly schedule for tutor availability. A weekly tutoring schedule is posted at http://technologyhomeworkcenter.wikispaces.com, as well as at the Technology Homework Center. The schedule is subject to change.
